For 2017 the Ontario County Fair will continue with a poster contest that keeps the voting
process more interactive.
Once all submitted posters are in; 10 top posters will be chosen and put on display at the fair. During fair week anyone attending the fair will be able to vote for the poster they think should win “Best in Class”. Prizes will be given to the top 10 posters chosen, and
all posters submitted will be displayed around the fair grounds.
Look for posters to be displayed in the arts and craft section of Mercantile II (the same building that you will find the Ontario County Sheriff interaction and displays)
- You may use any type or size paper that you like, but if your poster needs to be mailed keep in mind how you are going to do that.
- Contact information must be on the back but names may be on the front so your friends and family will know who to vote for.
- Our general fair theme is “Cultivating the next Generation” You should have fun with your design, but keep in mind that the top 10 will be picked based on a fun, fair related look.
- Posters need to be received by July 10th in order to be considered for the top 10 picking.
Each of the top 10 candidates will be contacted to be told that their poster is in the running (contact information is important), you may then invite as many of your friends and family to come to the fair and vote for your poster to become “Best in Class”. Winning poster will be displayed on the Ontario County Fair web site and other publications that report on fair
Age categories; up to 10, 11-18, 19 and up; each age group will be represented in the top ten.
